How are wrought iron doors and products made?

At Signature Entries, we manufacture all of our wrought iron products in manufacturing plants that combine both state-of-the-art Quality Standards and Practices, combined with one-at-a-time Design Precision. Each door and iron product is made by artisan craftsmen, one product at a time. Click here for more information about construction.

Does the glass on your iron doors open?

Yes. We only produce "Operable Glass" on all of our iron doors. We do this for Security reasons. This gives you the security in being able to answer the door without ever opening it. Simply, open the glass and "talk-through" the door. The party outside your door cannot gain entry as the iron door is "in-tact". Also, see our question on "Cleaning the Glass - another advantage...

How Do I clean the glass and door?

Use mild soap and warm water to clean your door, (Do not use any chemical cleaning solutions). All of our wrought iron doors are designed with a hinged glass casement that is sealed against the elements. It can be opened independently from the door for ventilation, cleaning and security.

How do I take the door opening measurement?

Call us and we will come out to your property to do an exact measurement. If you have a Contractor, we will work with them and they can take the measurement for you. Taking a measurement yourself can cause inaccuracy. From our experience, we have found that do-it-yourself-measurements cause a lot of grief. An intricate part of the price and success of your iron door installation is based on the accuracy of your door opening measurement. Do it right the first time - Get a precise measurement - for an accurate price - a precision fit - and reassurance of the warranty on your investment.

Yes, our doors are easily retrofitted to any existing construction. Signature Entries has specialized in working with home owners, builders and remodelers. Once your current door or window is removed, our products mount and bolt directly into an existing opening. Products are easy to install and more secure than other commercially available products.
